The family of a fallen Tecumseh officer is waiting for justice a more than a year after his death. 

People lined the streets of Tecumseh to celebrate the city’s annual Frontier Days, but the parade crowd also paused to remember who they lost, officer Justin Terney.

Lincoln County Sherriff Charlie Dougherty will race in the Fallen Hero 50 on May 26th, to honor the names of our fallen heroes.

In late March, Tecumseh police officer Justin Terney was shot and killed during what started as a traffic stop.

Hundreds gathered in Shawnee tonight to remember officer Justin Terney, who was killed during a traffic stop last month. His name is now carved into the Pottawatomie County memorial for fallen officers.

The woman found in the car with the suspect accused of fatally shooting a Tecumseh Police Officer has now been charged with second-degree murder.
